POP UP FASHION BOUTIQUE
Lady Starlight, the rock dj and woman behind online clothing store CONSUME have teamed up with style duo, The Alter Boys Tommy Cole and Roy Caires, owners of the Brooklyn boutique ALTER to bestow fashionistas with an exciting dose of unique vintage pieces ranging from iconic rock looks, over deconstructed punk garments, to haute electro outfits sold at brilliantly affordable prices.
On the weekend of April 23, 24, 25, 2010 THE FIX will transform a 2000 sq ft Lower East Side location into a fashion hot spot, re-creating the spirit of pop rock New York with live djs, in-store styling and photo shoots, reminiscent of the happy window dancing days at Fiorucci in the 80s.
As the original fashion inspiration to Lady Gaga, Lady Starlight embodies all things pop rock – as does The Alter Boys who have dabbled New York bands and artists with their creative direction and personal style, including the band Semi Precious Weapons who are currently Lady Gaga's Monster Ball opening act. The three pop/rock fashion visionaries will be present at THE FIX to dazzle customers with their expert in-house styling advice and to capture snapshots of the supreme rock looks that will be flying out the store.
Get your hands on these stunning vintage pieces before anyone else. The merchandise include: Customized denim jackets, deconstructed tailored garments, sequin one offs, unisex jumpsuits, modern accessories, jewelry, hats, studded belts, sunglasses, spiked cuffs, fake diamonds, and much more high fashion at really affordable prices.
Prices range between $25 to $75 per garment, and $15 to $45 for accessories.

Event Update 4/20/10 We are thrilled to have Rodney from NY Vinyl joining THE FIX. He will be playing and selling records all three days of the pop-up. His amazing record collection includes: Psyche, Sexy Soul, New Wave, Electro, Funk, Dirty R&B, Disco, Goth, Industrial, Early Hip Hop and Punk.
